Event Details

The Presbyterian Relief and Development Agency (PRDA) organized a comprehensive Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) outreach program at the Bentiu IDP Camp. The event aimed to address urgent sanitation challenges, promote hygiene awareness, and provide clean water access to thousands of internally displaced persons living in difficult conditions due to ongoing conflict and displacement.

The outreach included hygiene education sessions, distribution of sanitation kits, and the installation of temporary handwashing stations at key locations in the camp. This initiative was part of PRDA’s broader commitment to improving community health, preventing waterborne diseases, and restoring dignity to vulnerable populations.

  • 3,000+ individuals reached with hygiene education.
  • 500 hygiene kits distributed to families in need.
  • Reduction in open defecation practices reported in follow-up visits.
  • Improved water access for over 1,200 people within the camp.

    Event Mission

To improve sanitation and hygiene practices among displaced populations, reduce the spread of preventable diseases, and ensure access to safe drinking water in emergency settings.

    Event Vission
