Event Details
The Youth Empowerment and Skills Development Workshop was a five-day intensive training program organized by the Presbyterian Relief and Development Agency (PRDA) to equip young people in Juba with practical skills, leadership abilities, and entrepreneurial knowledge. The event brought together over 120 youth from diverse backgrounds, including internally displaced persons (IDPs), recent graduates, and community leaders, with the aim of fostering self-reliance and reducing unemployment rates among South Sudan’s young population.
Participants were trained in key areas such as small business management, vocational trades, digital literacy, and community leadership. PRDA also partnered with local businesses and NGOs to offer mentorship opportunities and pathways for internships or small start-up grants.
