Who We Are
The Presbyterian Relief and Development Agency (PRDA) is the relief and development arm of the Presbyterian Church of South Sudan (PCOSS). Established in 1993, PRDA was registered as an NGO by the Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (SRRC) in 2008 and holds full legal recognition from the Ministry of Legal Affairs and Constitutional Development of the Republic of South Sudan. PRDA has been a member of the ACT Alliance since 2012, and was formerly part of the OLS/UNICEF consortium in 1997.

Our mission is to carry out community-based relief, rehabilitation, and development activities that meet and address the overall social and physical needs of the people of South Sudan. Our vision is a peaceful, empowered, and developed South Sudanese society.

Where We Work
PRDA works across Greater Upper Nile (Upper Nile, Unity, Jonglei, Greater Pibor, and Ruweng Administrative Areas) and Central Equatoria. Our programs include Agriculture, WASH & Education in Pochalla County; Agriculture & WASH in Uror County; Midwifery & Nursing Training at the Presbyterian Health Science Institute (PHSI) in Juba; community-based programs in Akobo, Bor, Maiwut, and Boma; and emergency relief in Fangak, Akobo, Pieri/Pibor, Nasir, Ulang, Juba, and Kodok.
