Health & Nutrition (Midwifery & Nursing Training)

Through the Presbyterian Health Science Institute (PHSI) in Juba, PRDA trains midwives and nurses to serve communities that would otherwise have little or no access to skilled birth attendants. Graduates return to clinics and health posts across South Sudan, extending PRDA's reach into areas underserved by the national health system.

Alongside PHSI, community health programs operate outreach clinics, maternal and child health screenings, and nutrition support for young children and pregnant or nursing mothers. Health workers also lead emergency health response during disease outbreaks and displacement crises, ensuring vulnerable families are not left without care when they need it most.
