PRDA supports smallholder farmers across Greater Upper Nile and Central Equatoria with farming tools, quality seeds, and agricultural training, helping households recover cultivation after years of displacement and conflict. Training sessions cover climate-resilient planting techniques, post-harvest handling, and basic record-keeping, so families can move beyond subsistence farming toward a stable surplus they can sell or store.

Alongside crop production, PRDA promotes income-generating activities such as poultry farming, vegetable gardening, and small-scale businesses run by women's and youth groups. These livelihood groups receive starter inputs and ongoing mentorship, building lasting household resilience that outlasts any single harvest season and reduces dependence on emergency food aid over time.
