Emergency Response & Relief

When conflict or natural disaster strikes, PRDA delivers emergency food, shelter materials, and non-food items — including blankets, cooking sets, and hygiene supplies — to families displaced from their homes, often working alongside partner agencies to reach areas cut off by flooding or insecurity.

Recent responses have reached communities in Fangak, Akobo, Pieri/Pibor, Nasir, Ulang, Juba, and Kodok, frequently in the same counties where PRDA already runs longer-term food security, health, or WASH programs — allowing emergency relief to transition into recovery support rather than a one-time handout.
