PRDA rehabilitates schools damaged by conflict and flooding, and equips classrooms with the desks, learning materials, and teaching aids that make regular instruction possible again. In many program areas, restoring a functioning classroom is the first step toward normal life returning to a displaced or resettled community.

PRDA also invests in teacher training, helping educators build stronger classroom management and instructional skills, and works deliberately to prioritize access for vulnerable children — especially girls — who are most often kept out of school during displacement, early marriage pressure, or household hardship.
